Fingerless Gloves

My sister-in-law recently asked if I could knit her a pair of fingerless gloves. They're great for keeping your hands warm while still being able to use your fingers when you need them (to use your cell phone, ipad, tying up doggie waste bags on a walk, changing the radio station in the car--the uses are endless!)

I had no idea there were so many styles. Now I am totally into making these all winter long...and it's not even winter yet! I am busy collecting high-end luxury yarns like cashmere and alpaca because I know these will get a lot of use from anyone who tries them. The colors, both solids and stripes, are literally endless.

I'll post the ones I make for my sister-in-law when I finish them. First, I tried out my skills for my husband. Here are the fingerless gloves -- also known as wristlets -- I made in his color choice. Aren't they just fabulous?!

And here he is modeling :)   So glad they fit!

Let me know if you would like custom-made wrist-warmers, or whatever you like to call them, for a woman or for a man!
